This article was originally published in shoutoutla.com on 10/18/21. We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaac Mashman and we’ve shared our conversation below. Hi Isaac, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking. Taking risks has been fundamental in the growth I’ve had over the last several years both in my personal life and in my business ventures. Without them, I think my growth would’ve been stunted. From taking one way flights to France and the only way I was getting home was if I closed a client, to staying in California without a secure place to live, these times helped shape me into who I am today. What some would label as immature, or as outright idiotic, I view as opportunities to increase faith in myself, develop skills, and experience things nobody in my life ever chose to. Putting yourself in situations where it’s all or nothing causes an instinctual response of survival to arise. Learning to thrive in risk and in uncomfortable circumstances allows you to control your reactions in the future. When a problem arises and others stress, you come up with solutions. It boils down to trust in self, and self-control. For the full article click here!

This article was originally published in yolodaily.com on 9/16/21. It is truly remarkable how far technology can reach in the modern era. Aside from television and radio, and millions of dollars in production costs, being able to communicate with consumers has never been as accessible, let alone feasible as it is today. For someone who is building their personal brand or business, it is now possible to take it a step further by tapping into international audiences. This leads to more credibility and developing fanbases in other parts of the world. Yes, that sounds great and all, but we assure you that it is more than just talk and is actually possible for you who is reading this article, to have reach without borders. Let’s take Isaac Mashman as an example. He is an American businessman, creator, podcast host, and speaker who has consciously built his personal brand since August of 2017. In a relatively short amount of time he has built his presence digitally and in mid-July 2021, had the opportunity of virtually speaking at the Dreamer’s Summit in Kumasi, Ghana, which was hosted at a local university. Discussing how this opportunity came about, Mashman stated “Personal branding, patience, and saying yes to opportunities” landed him this gig. For the full article click here!

This article was originally published in pulseapp.com on 9/10/21. At 21, Isaac Mashman found himself in California trying to find his place in life while the pandemic raged outside his doorstep. Working as a freelancer and sole proprietor, he knew he would get a stimulus check. And he decided to do something different with it. Instead of squirrel away his stimulus money for a rainy day, Isaac decided to invest it into launching a business. Thus, on April 17, 2020, the public relations firm Mashman Ventures was born. Through his company, Isaac helps business owners, musicians, and other ambitious individuals build and leverage their personal brands to drive leads, book gigs, and get seen. While his company is only a year and a half old, he's managed to bring on 13 team members without any outside funding. Building this team, keeping his operations simple, and staying flexible has led to Mashman Ventures’ wild success. We sat down with Isaac in our recent episode of The Cash Flow Show to talk about his success and what other business owners and entrepreneurs can learn from it. For the full article click here!

This article was originally published in disruptmagazine.com on 9/1/21. When you think of a typical professional in the world of public relations, you probably think of a white collared, suit-wearing, businessman. That isn’t the case for this particular public relations founder, Isaac Mashman. Although he is known for sporting a blazer every now and again, he’s often seen in his company’s hoodies wearing a decent watch, and a cup of coffee is nearby. First launching his public relations firm Mashman Ventures in April of 2020, within less than two years, he’s positioned himself as a person to be watchful of moving forward. Armed with an unusual business model and focus, he mainly specializes in personal branding, working with people who he states “want to be followed, in-demand, and respect”, this being their official marketing message. Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida to a single mother, in a lower-middle-class family, Isaac attended school and was on track to receive a full-ride scholarship to several of Florida’s top universities. Armed with a rebellious attitude mixed with the ongoing chaos at home, he fell into the realm of entrepreneurship instead. In the years to come, he traveled, experienced, and learned a great deal about both branding and personal branding. It was in late 2019, early 2020 when he recognized that there was a real need in the market for somebody who could help with personal brands. Not just help with them, but strategize and build one up ethically and morally... For the full article click here!

This article was originally published in successfulhacks.com on 8/26/21. We all have things about us that not many people know about. Especially if you’re building your personal brand online, it can be challenging at times to show different sides of your lifestyle and personality. It seems that if the content isn’t somehow educational or provides value, it’s useless. We recently decided to take the time to do some research and find out more information on Isaac Mashman, and were surprised to learn he is what we could only define as an “entertainment enthusiast”. Widely known for his business acumen and podcast, there is more to this entrepreneur than educational content and his coffee addiction which is frequently hinted at. For context, Mashman runs a public relations firm, Mashman Ventures which he founded in April of 2020, and from what we normally see, takes up most of his time. It is common knowledge it is his vehicle for future investments and real-estate purchases. His podcast Chase the Vision with Isaac Mashman is another area of focus. The show now being past the 75th episode mark is his “platform” so to speak to provide value from. In addition to what we could find on the web and for clarity’s sake, we reached out to Isaac for his input on the subject, to which he happily responded. “I’m absolutely an entertainment enthusiast. Love that phrasing by the way. I’ve been working on showing more of my personal side, but it takes time. I actually just posted a story of me in bed working while watching Lord Of The Rings, the extended version of The Fellowship Of The Ring to be exact. I’m the kind of guy who if I find a show or series I truly enjoy, I make it my goal to learn as much as possible about it. For example, I have seen every episode of The Walking Dead, can tell you about the races of Middle Earth, and know about H.R. Giger, the person who influenced Alien. Just like I research business, I also do research on my other interests.” For the full article click here!

With the rise of influencers, creatives, and entrepreneurs putting themselves out there online, it’s starting to seem as if anybody can become famous. According to the founder of public relations firm Mashman Ventures, Isaac Mashman, it is. Thank you for taking the time to have this conversation. Before we dive into the subject matter, how would you define personal branding? Thanks for having me on! Personal Branding is everything about you. Whereas in a company, you have to give it characteristics, develop its brand, and emphasize its image, you have always had your personal brand. From the most minute character traits, everything about you contributes to your personal brand. The moment you were born, your parents created your personal brand. They gave you your name, much of your early identity, and dictated what schools you attended, to the kinds of people that you were around. Now that you’re older, you can develop the conscious awareness to direct and continue creating your personal brand to whatever means you desire. For the full article click here!

Whether you’re the kind of listener who has a handful of shows that you’re consistently tuning in to, or you jump from podcast to podcast, it’s important to filter out the right content from the wrong. We had the opportunity of interviewing the host of Chase The Vision with Isaac Mashman podcast, for this exclusive article. Welcome Isaac, before we talk about your podcast, can you tell our readers a little bit about you? Absolutely, and I appreciate this opportunity! In short without getting super deep into my background, I’m a businessman, creative, and podcast host. I’ve had the opportunity over the last four years to do quite a few things, and I’ve delved into nearly half a dozen businesses, if not more, launched multiple podcasts, and my current focus is on running my public relations firm Mashman Ventures. Early on I struggled with understanding what I wanted to pursue, so I decided to just try a bunch of different things. My early years in business were full of experiences and growth, not just professionally but also individually. I eventually became the go-to guy in my circle for branding and personal branding, and that’s when the idea of helping people with their personal brands really started. This article was originally published in thriveglobal.com by Tyler Gallagher on 8/20/21. Many successful people are perfectionists. At the same time, they have the ability to say “Done is Better Than Perfect” and just complete and wrap up a project. What is the best way to overcome the stalling and procrastination that perfectionism causes? How does one overcome the fear of potential critique or the fear of not being successful? In this interview series, called How To Get Past Your Perfectionism And ‘Just Do It’, we are interviewing successful leaders who can share stories and lessons from their experience about “how to overcome the hesitation caused by perfectionism. As a part of this series, I had the pleasure of interviewing Isaac Mashman. Isaac Mashman is a business owner, podcast host, private investor, and public speaker. After trying over half a dozen business ventures, including multiple network marketing companies, artist management, a record label, drop-shipping, and an apparel line, it was in early 2020 he finally understood he had a passion for personal branding and had seen some success with his own up to that point. On April 17th, 2020 Isaac launched his public relations firm Mashman Ventures and has built his brand with no paid PR and limited advertising. He says that his company takes an untraditional approach to PR and emphasizes the importance of building one’s personal brand organically. At the time of publication, he has a team of over a dozen people and is nearly 70 episodes into his podcast Chase the Vision with Isaac Mashman in which he uses to talk about his experiences and knowledge in life, business, and personal growth. Thank you so much for doing this with us! Before we start, our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you tell us a bit about your childhood backstory? Thank you again for the opportunity to share my story and knowledge! The honor is mine. I come from a lower-middle-class family in Jacksonville, Florida. Nobody in my life was entrepreneurial, and although I had much of what I needed, my mom and grandparents made just enough to get by, without much room for anything else. Don’t get me wrong, I had clothes, and I had food in my belly, but there were times where the dentist was out of the budget, or I had to wear hand-me-downs. This led me to understand how the lack of money could influence one’s life. It was during my senior year of high school when I turned away from the idea of going to college like I and my mom had been planning for my entire life. Instead, I like to say I “fell” into business... For the full article click here!

This article was originally published in listennotes.com on 7/9/21. Tell us about you and your podcast Before we get started I want to take a second to thank everyone at Listen Notes for this opportunity to share my story and more information about my podcast. Coming from Jacksonville, Florida, and born into a lower-middle-class household, no one was entrepreneurial, nor made over $50k a year. Up until the time I was in my senior year, I was encouraged and working for a full-ride scholarship which I was in fact, one SAT test away from getting. The thing was, I didn't know what was in store for me at college aside from mistakes and newfound freedom. So, viewing business as my so-called therapy, it allowed me to take my mind off of the struggles occurring at home, and the stress around me. I would say I more so fell into entrepreneurship, although I had a lot of entrepreneurial tendencies growing up. For the sake of time, I won't go into detail. And so it was, this young kid a few months away from graduation and full of confusion. I got involved with business and started my first podcast at the beginning of 2018. God, I hated it. I overthought literally every aspect of it, but I started to say the least. Fast forward some, I started my current podcast "Chase the Vision with Isaac Mashman" in 2019, and in the following year I found my passion for personal branding, launching my public relations firm Mashman Ventures on April 17th, 2020.
